Giving Children Something Special at Art Buddies

I wanted to share this with everyone. There is a special organization out there called Art Buddies that offers so many children a special opportunity to work along side creative adults.
Art Buddies, a program of the nonprofit Creatives for Causes, pairs creative mentors from advertising and design with children from low-income families in south Minneapolis.

They help the kids discover their own creative talents, and help them dream big dreams. The children work with their mentor to create something so far into their imaginations and then organize a day to show it off to their peers and family in an exciting parade.

This program is truly a joy and offers something that is so unique and special.

Boo Bash Was a HUGE Success

Thanks to all those folks in Highland Park, Mac Groveland and surrounding neighborhoods close and far who came out to the Grand Avenue Boo Bash. It was a great time and a very successful turn out. I sponsered the free pony rides and handed out 10 bags of candy to over 1200 kids in full costume. What a treat (pardon the pun) it was to share in such fun!

Look for this same event next year...SEE YOU THEN!

October's now upon us and fall is in the air!

The day for dressing up in creative costumes and giving away candy to children is almost here!

Go to 1243 Thomas Avenue in St Paul's Hamline Midway Neighborhood and you will find a resident selling some of the best pumpkins in town, and at the best price!

She even has the famous Fairy Tale Pumpkins that are so hard to find!!!

Stop by anytime. You will find a huge variety of pumkins in her yard. There is an "honor system" box for you to drop in your money.

I just got 5 myself that are now displayed on my front steps.
